🌟 Celebrating Rev. Miatta Wilson, one of APCE’s 2025 awardees! 🌟

Rev. Miatta Wilson, a proud graduate of Presbyterians Supporting Christian Education (PSCE), Class of 1991, has been named ENRICH – Educator of the Year at the 2025 APCE Annual Event.

During her time at PSCE, she learned the value of collaborative work and resource sharing, along with an expansive understanding of God and God’s boundless love—a foundation that has guided her impactful ministry.

Reflecting on this recognition, she shared, “This award is an affirmation of my call to support Christian Formation for all ages, particularly through my work with the PC(USA) Office of Christian Formation.”

For Rev. Wilson, enrichment flows both ways: “I have been enriched by the communities of faith I’ve served with, and I believe my ministry has, in turn, enriched them.” Her guiding motto, inspired by Frederick Buechner, embodies this mutual enrichment: “The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”

✨ Meet Rev. Zeta Touchton Lamberson, one of APCE

✨ Meet Rev. Zeta Touchton Lamberson, one of APCE's 2025 awardees! ✨

Rev. Zeta Touchton Lamberson, a proud graduate of the Presbyterian School of Christian Education, Class of 1977, will be honored with the SUSTAIN – Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 APCE Annual Event.

Looking back on her experience at PSCE, which federated with Union Theological Seminary in 1997 to eventually become Union Presbyterian Seminary, Rev. Lamberson shared, “My education at PSCE broadened my understanding of ministry in the church. The courses in theology, Bible, and ethics were especially helpful.” These lessons became the bedrock of her impactful and faithful ministry.

Speaking about the recognition, she remarked, “To be recognized by your peers for activities that did as much for you as it did for others is truly amazing.” Service has always been central to her ministry: “When I think of the life of Jesus, I think of service. How blessed and fortunate I am to be able to give and serve others.”

Her favorite scripture, Matthew 7:12, captures her mission: “In everything do to others as you would have them do to you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”

✨ Meet Rev. Roberta Dodds-Ingersoll, one of APCE’s 2025 awardees! ✨

Rev. Roberta Dodds-Ingersoll, a proud graduate of the Presbyterian School of Christian Education, Class of 1979, will be honored with the SUSTAIN – Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 APCE Annual Event.

Reflecting on her time at PSCE, she shared that it taught her the importance of balance: the integration of Biblical and Reformed theology, educational theory, and practical application. These foundational lessons shaped her impactful ministry as both an educator and pastor.

On receiving this recognition, she noted, “Each of us has God-given gifts that we have been called to share with energy, intelligence, imagination, and love.” Her favorite scripture, Psalm 139, serves as a testament to God’s sustaining presence throughout her life and work.
