We’re excited to share a few snapshots from CECE Symposium 2025: Critical Conversations on Curriculum!

From the powerful preaching of Rev. Dr. Phanta Lansden during opening worship to a thought-provoking keynote dialogue on curriculum in today’s ever-changing world, the energy was inspiring. Participants spent time in small groups led by UPSem students, diving deep into the what, how, and why of curriculum. There was fellowship, rich conversation, and moments of worship woven throughout.

Huge thanks to the CECE staff who made it all happen—with tech support, food, registration, online hosting, and Font and Faith announcements. And it looks like they even had fun doing it!

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 9, at noon. Dr. Lapsley, a distinguished Old Testament scholar and passionate advocate for theological education, will offer insights on leadership, justice, and faith. We invite our community to attend and be part of this important conversation.
