The Kittye Susan Trent Symposium assists newly ordained pastors who show promise for one day leading larger congregations. The symposium assists the pastors in continuing to bridge the gap between seminary and congregation, exploring ways to put important theory into effective practice. Professors, experienced ministers, and qualified laypeople lead seminars in the context of a large, vibrant congregation.
Dr. McFayden is the Academic Dean and Professor of Ministry and Leadership Development at Union Presbyterian Seminary, Richmond, Virginia.
