On Sunday, September 23, 2018,  Bluff Presbyterian Church, Wade, North Carolina, will welcome Dr. Sam Adams to its pulpit. This year is the 260th year since the Old Bluff Church’s founding in 1758. The date of the reunion is Sept. 23. Worship is at 11 a.m. followed by a covered dish lunch on the grounds. Dr. Samuel L. Adams, professor of Biblical Studies at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Va., will preach on “Civility, Koinonia, and Our Current Cultural Moment,” and he and the Rev. Meg Lindsay Dudley, pastor of Bluff Presbyterian Church, will preside over the Lord’s Supper.
