El Leadership Institute of Union Presbyterian Seminary, en asociación con el Syngman Rhee Global Mission Center for Christian Education, están patrocinando este curso en línea. 

Título del curso:  Apocalipsis: resiliencia, esperanza y canciones

El libro del Apocalipsis es uno de los escritos más eclécticos del Segundo Testamento en la Biblia. Las complejidades, características, teologías y expresiones humanas espirituales que le habitan, son maravillosas como para intentar abarcar todo su contenido en un solo curso.  El libro de las Revelaciones nos regala experiencias profundas de fe. Estudiaremos el texto desde lecturas que estimulen la esperanza, que fortalezcan la resistencia en medio del dolor y los desafíos de la vida, y que nos alienten a la celebración.

Formato del curso en línea: Las clases semanales los lunes se llevarán a cabo utilizando la tecnología Zoom. Se proporcionará el enlace correspondiente de Zoom. Los participantes necesitarán tener acceso a un dispositivo electrónico con una conexión estable a Internet, una cámara web, un micrófono y bocinas.

Course Title: Apocalypse: Resilience, Hope, and Songs

The book of Revelation is one of the most eclectic of the Second Testament writings in the Bible. The complexities, characteristics, theologies, and spiritual human expressions that inhabit it are too wonderful to attempt to cover all of its contents in one course. The book of Revelation gives us profound experiences of faith. We will study the text from readings that stimulate hope, that strengthen resilience in the midst of life’s pain and challenges, and that encourage us to celebrate.

Online Course Format:  Weekly class meetings on Mondays will be held using Zoom Technology. The Zoom meeting link will be provided. Participants will need access to an electronic device with a stable internet connection, a webcam, microphone, and speakers.

Led by: Dr. Dan González-Ortega, Pastor in the Mexican Communion of Reformed and Presbyterian Churches and Professor of Bible and biblical interpretation methodologies
