Description:
This intensive course will explore historical and contemporary theories of human psychological and faith development. Participants will apply these theories to teaching people of all ages in the church. Theories of human and faith development and their application will be organized around the significant movements of the Christian Life from Baptism to Confirmation to Church Triumphant.
Objectives:
The participant will be able to:
- Identify historical and contemporary theories of human psychological and faith development.
- Articulate ways these theories inform the religious concepts of faith and spirituality.
- Demonstrate the use of these theories within the context of ministry.
