Set to open in fall 2017, this new center will equip pastors and educators from developing countries such as Kenya, Ghana, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam, as well as students from the United States, with Christian education training. It will provide an international learning experience to promote cross-cultural understanding and dialogue.

The center, located in the newly renovated Richmond Hall, is named in memory of Rev. Dr. Syngman Rhee, former UPSem Visiting Professor of Evangelism and Mission, Director of Asian American Ministry and Mission Center, and PC(USA) moderator of the 213 General Assembly of the PC(USA). Rhee dedicated his life to global learning and reconciliation.
