Solo Pastor/Head of Staff–Fremont Presbyterian Church–Fremont, NE
Fremont Presbyterian Church, located 35 miles northwest of Omaha in eastern Nebraska, is seeking an experienced PC(USA) pastor with the faith, theology, gifts and experience to lead and grow our church family.
Our new pastor must be a good communicator and teacher, able to deliver inspiring, scripture-based sermons to grow our church family in faith. Our pastor should also have a humble heart, know the value of engaging all ages faithfully, and be prepared to support our growing adult and thriving children’s ministries.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are a necessity. Our pastor should be able to lead and collaborate with staff, committees and members, listen to multiple viewpoints and work towards an agreed-upon vision.
Our pastor will administer the church’s programs as developed by the Session by leading and directing church staff through regular staff meetings as well as equipping and encouraging volunteers.
The pastor’s compassion for members should be genuine, consistent and caring. Pastoral care, including counseling, home communion, visitation and crisis visits, will be a priority.
Experience reviving and growing a church, which desires to move forward with faith, hope and love, is ideal.
