Ghana Travel Seminar: Reuniting with alumni
BY DR. FRANCES TAYLOR GENCH
Union Presbyterian Seminary has a significant alumni presence in Ghana — and one of the joys of this trip is reuniting with them! In the past week, we have reconnected with Christopher Mawunyo-Nyonyoh, Class of 2018, in Accra; Emmanuel Otu, Class of 2006, in Cape Coast; Chris Nartey, Class of 2016, (Pictured above at center in blue with us and his family at his church) in Kpong; and Jonathan Komladzei, Class of 1994, in Ho, where he works at EPCG headquarters as the Men’s Program Officer for the denomination. Jonathan also introduced us to The Rev. Hannah Flalor-Abganyo who will be joining us on the Richmond campus for the 2019-2020 school year. We look forward to seeing Hannah again in September!
Frances Taylor Gench is the Herbert Worth and Annie H. Jackson Professor of Biblical Interpretation at Union Presbyterian Seminary.
