May 29, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - May 30, 2019 @ 4:00 pm
Event Navigation
Join us as we discover how church leaders and faith community members can employ the church and its resources to engage the community by supporting innovation and creative business endeavors. Through this workshop, our desire is for church and ministry leaders to realize and grapple with the compelling call for us to create and build flourishing communities, not just strong churches. We will explore what is entailed to shift from the common, singularly focused church growth mind-set to a broader and creative community growth and flourishing mind-set by utilizing our collective gifts, tools, and resources for greater positive impact. We will begin with a theological framework and foundation on Wednesday evening, followed by full day of ultra-practicality on Thursday. You can expect to leave with new experiences and concrete ways in which you can begin creatively leading within your church, ministry, and community setting. Come explore the notion of creative ministry with us. We believe we are all created to build flourishing communities, and we are excited to share tools and resources that can be used in your particular context.
